More love... ...more power, more blogs in my life.
Continuing on a theme I started last week, here are a few more blogs on the blogroll that I frequent:
Ganns. He and I may differ in our opinions of what constitutes good music, but he is always polite in his disagreements with me. One can't ask for more than that. Plus, it's a joy to read his thoughts and perspectives on a variety of topics -- music, theology, doing church, and life in general. Check out his website and consider ordering a copy of his new EP.
Both of DeanPeters' blogs. Mean Dean isn't all that mean once you get to know him. His Heal Your Church Website is a great resource for those in the church who want to use the Internet to build bridges, and blogs4God, a meta-blog Dean manages, brings together some choice morsels from believers throughout the blogosphere.
MusicSpectrum. The man gives away music! How could I love him any more?
Steve Knight. Steve is one of the bloggers I've actually met in real life. (Funny how we have to add that qualifier "in real life" these days when we talk about meeting people.) We met a few years ago at a meeting of the Internet Evangelism Coalition, back when he was just getting his feet wet as editor of a great online pop culture magazine, Passageway. His blog is great -- and he's right up there among the best when it comes to writing whimsical blog headlines.
David Hopkins. Here's another guy I met offline. He used to be the editor of Next Wave and wrote some verygoodstuff in his day. Even more impressive, to me, was the fact that the guy was still in college when he wrote this stuff. Then he graduated, went to work on other projects, got married, started a new ministry (teaching is a noble calling, David!) and started blogging, not necessarily in that order.
Dan Hughes. Yet another blogger I met offline -- at the same time I met David Hopkins. The three of us met for dinner about a year ago when I was in Dallas for a meeting. But I wasn't at the top of my game. I had been sick with some cruddy strain of flu, and had chowed down so much Sudafed that I practically a walking meth factory. Anyway, it was great getting to meet Dan and David, and it's great to continue the relationships online.
