Four more years? Four more years? Today marks my four-year anniversary in bloggerville. Hard to believe I've been at it for so long. That's an entire presidential term.
I wish I had more time to blather about my reflections on these first four years, and what it all means in a metaphysical sense. But other, more temporal matters press in, so introspection will have to wait. In the meantime, here's a look at my very first post:

Just what I need: another writing commitment; another excuse to avoid real work. Hence, this weblog.
Who knows how this experiment will turn out. But I've been fascinated with weblogging for some time now, and have wanted to try it out for myself. Isn't that just like me, to chase after a trend after it's outgrown its trendiness? Even so, I'm wanting to explore blogging as a spiritual discipline, as a means of becoming a better writer, and as a means of training my brain [link now dead]. We'll see how it goes.
