March sadness As usual, my annual NCAA basketball tournament bracket is a bust after the first round of play. I'm 17-for-32 in my picks -- barely above the .500 mark. According to the ESPN Tournament Challenge rankings, I scored 170 points in the first round, putting me in 2,612,234.
Two million, six hundred and twelve thousand, two hundred and thirty-four. Doesn't make much of a cheer, does it:
We're number two million, six hundred and twelve thousand, two hundred and thirty-four!
We're number two million, six hundred and twelve thousand, two hundred and thirty-four!
But, the good news is, three of my final four picks -- and seven of my elite eight -- are still in. The exception is Kansas, which lost to Bradley last night. Not to rub it in or anything, but Rob only has six of his elite eight picks still in the running.
