U.S. Secretary of Education left behind on Jeopardy! Earlier this week, U.S. Education Secretary Margaret Spellings became the first federal cabinet member to appear on a Jeopardy! celebrity match. Unforunately for Spellings, she had to match wits with actor Michael McKean (pictured on Spellings' right). (You might know him from his role as Lenny on the old Laverne and Shirley sitcom, or as one of the heavy metal heads in This Is Spinal Tap.) In the end, McKean proved too tough for the "No Child Left Behind" proponent. McKean won the match handily.
Via Hot Air, which points out "for all the Spinal Tap fans out there: yes, there was a category devoted to Stonehenge; yes, the answer to the $1,000 question was “the Druids”; and yes, Michael McKean was the one who got it right." (Hot Air also links to a nice Spinal Tap moment, via YouTube.)
