Playing leapblog. A week ago, Bene Diction proposed the game of leapblogging. He writes: "I'm interested in seeing if readers and bloggers have patterns or even ruts we follow or fall into. Do pundits just read pundits? Do Catholics just read Catholics? How often does a new blog capture our attention? Do readers go to more blogs than bloggers?"
Here's how the game works: "Pick any day this coming week, and while surfing, count the number of blogs you regularly visit and the number of new blogs you click on from a link. You may also count new blogs you choose to seek out." I haven't participated in the game yet, but I meant to. In this post, Bene says he tends to visit blogs of bloggers who visit his site. That's probably typical of most bloggers.
