For those who don't recall, the Southern Baptist Convention voted to boycott Disney and Disney products because of the company's decision to provide benefits for companions of gay employees.
And why did the SBC end the boycott? Not because Disney changed its policies -- isn't that the purpose of a boycott, after all? -- but because "We felt like it was time to end it," says an SBC spokesperson (source: AP via Foxnews.com).
Yeah, eight years is a long time to go without ESPN.
