Tag clouds
Inspired by teknocool's comment on Andrew Jones' recent post about tagging, I've decided to experiment a bit with tag clouds. According to Zeldman, tag clouds are little more than the latest fad for bloggers -- an assertion he made some eight months ago (far be it from me to pick up on a fad too quickly). But I like 'em, so I signed up with TagCloud to create one for this site. The result is on the right-hand sidebar and linked below.

TagCloud pulls info from this site's feed to generate the tags, but the tags aren't very relevant to what I post. I'm not sure how the code works. It isn't based on the tags I create for each post as a tool to show up on Technorati. See for yourself.

I'll do a little more investigation. In the meantime, if anyone knows of a good, free tag cloud creator for Blogger users, please let me know.
