Jesus Has Left the Building
A new book, coming the summer, that might be of interest to some of the emerging churchies who read this. Author Paul Vieira says in the prologue (pdf) that it's "a story about me, the generation that I belong to, and where I believe Jesus is taking the church."

He also quotes Bono, from a 2002 interview on Oprah: "I grew up in Ireland. My father was catholic and my mother was protestant. I am a believer, but I learned to be somewhat skeptical of religion. Religion is that thing, when God (like Elvis) has left the building. But if God is in the house, you get something else."
